By downloading, accessing, or using SketchPing ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Account Creation
Multiplayer online features in SketchPing are intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 may use the standalone, offline drawing experience without creating an account or transmitting data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and authentication credentials.
3. Acceptable Use and Community Standards
SketchPing is designed for friendly, expressive visual communication between mutual contacts. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transmit unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, threatening, or hateful content.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or relationship with another user.
- Attempt to circumvent security controls, decode sealed drawing envelopes before legal turn completion, or reverse-engineer game secret vaults.
- Harvest, scrape, or automate requests to invitation endpoints (/i/) or application APIs.
- Bypass safety, reporting, rate-limiting, or user-blocking mechanisms.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all original drawings, stroke paths, and visual artwork you create in SketchPing. By transmitting a drawing through a game mode or conversation, you grant SketchPing only the limited, non-exclusive license necessary to store, encrypt, and deliver that content to your intended recipients and display it in your shared friendship Scrapbook.
5. Virtual Goods, Sketch Coins, and Purchases
SketchPing offers virtual currency ("Sketch Coins") and virtual cosmetic goods (including brushes, color palettes, stamps, and paper textures) that can be earned through gameplay or optionally purchased through authorized platform stores (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You acknowledge and agree that:
- Limited License: Virtual goods and Sketch Coins represent a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for your personal, non-commercial use within SketchPing. You do not own the underlying software or intellectual property of virtual items.
- No Real-World Monetary Value: Virtual items and Sketch Coins hold no cash value. They cannot be redeemed, refunded, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for real-world currency or outside goods.
- Platform Store Billing: Any optional purchases of Sketch Coins or digital items are processed directly by Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play In-App Billing. Transactions are subject to the payment and billing terms of the respective platform store.
- Finality of Transactions: All redemptions and purchases of virtual items are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or platform store policies.
6. Safety, Reporting, and Account Actions
SketchPing provides in-app tools to report and block users who violate our community guidelines. Blocking immediately terminates communication between the two parties. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in harassment, abuse, or unauthorized exploitation of the Service.
7. Beta Disclaimer and Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. During beta testing periods, features may be refined, updated, or temporarily unavailable without prior notice.
